Leggy Coral Growth?

I've been moving over to SPS corals and things are looking good so far. I want to avoid leggy growth in preferance to thick, dense growth. Is leggy growth related to low flow or low light?

It is related to flow. The more flow the thicker the corals will grow. With SPS you should look to get as much flow as you can reasonably create. Between my main pump and the two vortec MP10's I run I get up to 50x my tank volume moving when both MP's ramp up to 100%.
