LegoZ 240 Gallon Reef!

Love your cabinet facing with the stain glass. Wish I had thought of that when I built mine. Does that top half come off? Its very similar to my set up. (Ohio 230)

yes the framed glass slides out and you can/could access from the back side of the tank but you have to go in through a window lol

wow.. massive stuff going on lol...looks complicated but its ur system so everything is where it needs to be...

It will be better laid out when I move it as it won't be expanded while online like this one was, which is where most of the complicated-ness came from.

1. insulation is denim so there is not any worry about the kiddo getting into it later
2. light switch is for the furnace room as before i framed up the fish room it was one room so i had to rewire the light
3. the weatherproof outlet box is to hopefully keep all salt residue out of the electrical system this time around. salt get everywhere and it had consistently corroded outlets and wiring on me.

I redid the latch for the room so the head does not destroy the wall when you open the door to the room.

Moved the RO/DI to the other room on the wall as planned.

Not pictured is the clean up and repair of the original wiring mess for the lighting in the basement. All of it I could get to has been reworked and should be ok now.

From yesterday:
well ran into trouble, my stupid cantilevered balcony leaked again during that last big storm (a few weeks ago). This time it was into the wall so it ran down into the fish room and stained the grout and got the face of the drywall a little wet, so now i need to rip that off and weatherproof it before I continue. I have been trying to get stuff done at the old house and hopefully get it on the market soon but it looks like that may not happen as soon as I need too.

My blue star leopard wrasse jumped out of the stock tank and died, I found it last night and kicked the ro/di on to top off the stock tank, leaving it on by accident... I had 300gallons of 1.020 salt water (stock tank filled to the brim almost overflowing), I drained it down, pulled some of the tank water and mixed 1/3 of a 50 gallon bag of salt it is now at 1.021... ugh... stuck a fan on the tank to increase evap, I'll have to deal with it more tonight, hopefully all of my LPS and Softies deal with it ok
