Lemnalia?

This was sold to me as a lemnalia coral and I don't think it looks like the pictures I am seeing of the same coral. I'm looking for input and care information I got it 3 days ago and it's perked up one minute and droopy the next. Everytime I move it somewhere it's seems happy for a few hrs then droopy again. The lfs told me it would do fine in my tank since my mushrooms are doing great.

This is what it looks like 30 minutes after the lights come on.

About 45 minutes after my double bright LEDs came on. The first picture was a stunner strip only.

My guess is that the lighting is too intense for it. Can you move it to a somewhat shady spot and see how it does there.

Well I shut off the marine land double bright LEDs and jut left my stunner strip on and it has popped back and all my mushrooms and palythoa polyps are open and look good. I find it odd that my LEDs were to much for a coral.

LED's are more intense than you think. I'm not familiar with that light, can you just turn it down, or can't you adjust it?

cant adjust them they are on or off or blue led there is no in between i have just left it off and everything seems happy. The coral itself confuses me its happy all day and randomly lays down and later its back to normal. LFS told me unless its dying its fine. He thinks it is a Kenya tree. So i guess my next step is to figure out how to tell if it is starting to die so i can at least be on the lookout for symptoms.

That's the downside of buying a led light that is not dimmable. If it was dimmable you could start off at a low percentage and slowly increase it over a period of weeks. Your stunner strip isn't bright enough to keep corals long term. I would replace the light with a led that is dimmable or if possible hang it from the ceiling so that you can move it higher off of the tank.
