i am interested in ordering one of those:

according to LA, it's fairly easy coral. does anyone of you have first hand experience with it?

SAnjay had a similar softie in his reef tank. It was the purple passion fruit variety of that species. IIRC he had noted that it was easy to keep (and quite striking also)

actually do you think sanjay might have a frag or 2 for sell? i suppose this coral grows fairly fast?

I guess you don't know who sanjay is huh ..

Beautiful coral... If you get them, take some pics .. I would some of those in my tank instead of Kenya tree ..

no i don't know who's sanjay. is he the lighting guy? he's not in bay area right? or is there another sanjay in the bay? if i can't find it locally, i will buy from LA. thanks!

He is the lighting guy . He has a tank thread in the Large Reef Tank forum.. 500G now real or something like that is the title, with Sanjay as the thread initiator. The softie picture is towards about the middle of the thread, maybe a bit more towards the end.
