lengthening the cord and tubing on the Tunze osmolator pump

I would like to put the pump and the top-off reservoir on my osmololater in the closet behind my aquarium, by feeding the outlet tube from the pump and the wires to the pump through the wall. It will require adding about 15 feet of wire and 15 feet of tubing to the pump. Will this be okay. I will not have it pumping uphill more than about a foot distance but the pump would be pumping through 15 more feet of tubing (same diameter?).

Yes, you can just use speaker wire to extend it and the tubing can be purchased in a 10M roll which is about 32ft. The only cautions I have about this is it tends to make trouble shooting problems more complicated, there is another connection to break or corrode and the pump can struggle to prime with such a long hose.

I have a similar issue in that I need to push the water higher than the 34" (IIRC) that's the max for the Osmolotor pump. Is there another pump available that will work with the osmolotor that would be a slight upgrade?

The osmolator pump can handle up to 9ft of head pressure. If you need more than that you would use the 3150.110 switched socket and the pump of your choice that is less than 150W.
