Can anyone give me a sense of what a Bipartitus will look like as it begins the transition from female to male? I bought a trio a number of months ago, moved the male into the main display after about 3 weeks, but left the females in my fuge to put on a little size. One risk that occurred to me at the time was that in the absence of the male one of the females might change gender. I'm about ready to move them up, but noticed yesterday that one of the females has a much greener head than I remember. It does not have the telltale male pattern though. I am unable to snap a good picture, so hoping somebody here has had a female change and can offer some insights. Thanks in advance.
