Leopard wrasse in a 40b?

Id love to get some kind of leopard wrasse in my display tank. My other fish include a purple firefish, and 2 ocellaris clowns one black and one normal. I also have a sand bed thats is around 3 inches deep all the way across the back of the tank and around 1.5 inches across the front due to more water movement. Any idea if that would work out?

Would more then likely work but the 4 clowns will not work more then likely I would pick two that u like the best and stick with that

The wrasse should be ok, but 4 clowns is going to end badly for 2 or more of them. I had issues with 4 clowns in a 240 that was 8' long. There was enough room for escape for the smaller clowns. In a small tank, the larger Ocellaris would have killed the skunk clowns

2 ocellaris clowns one black and one normal
are you guys adding one black and one normal to the two? I don't think it was intended as such.. Looks like 2 clowns to me, one that is black and one that is "normal"
(Just trying to stop the you can't have more than two clowns stuff, since its counter productive)

^nice catch lol yeah i only have two clowns and theyve been together for over 2 years now, as they came from my 20 gallon previously. other than that it should work out fine? thats good news. i love leopard wrasses

thanks thats a lot of good info. im gonna have my lfs bring a couple in and see if i can get them into my tank as quickly as possible

Well I think that you should be fine with a leopard wrasse in that tank, however make sure it is eating frozen food at the lfs.

Hmm ok. ill be sure to ask if theyre eating frozen. My lfs actually just got 5 or 6 ornate leopards in yesterday. I'm gonna head over today and take a look
