Leopard wrasse M. meleagris question

29reef

It's all about the flow
I want to turn my semi male into a full male(possibly wishful thinking) and add a single or pair of females to the group.

I'm looking for anyone who has any experience with making a harem of melegris from all females. My current wrasse is about 3.5" long and is showing some signs of green in her/his face. My questions for people with pairs/harems are.

How did you create your pair/group? Was it all at once(a male and females or all females)?

How long have you had them?

Any issues with females turning into males?

Any articles or info I can read?

I have paired anthias(easy), two Cirrhilbrus spp., and a Paracheilinus mccoskeri. But never leopard wrasses. I have a reliable source of quality leopards now so I'm willing to give it a try. I'd really like some input and experiences on the subject. Thanks.

The fish primer series is mainly on keeping them alive and experience with mixing them, I have success in that area. I was hoping to get input on pairing the leopard wrasse.

the leopard wrasse primer does not have the information you requested. Unfortunately I do not have the information either.

Steve, are you still keeping leopard wrasses? Is it a single male of one species or multiple males of different species?
