Leopoard Wrasse compatibility

Was thinking of buying M.bipartitus leopard wrasse and heard they can easily damage their mouth as they like to dive into sandbed when scared or at night. I have some sand-dwelling invertebrates - several nassarius snails and a strawberry conch. Was just wondering if was fine to keep a leopard wrasse with these or if it might injure itself if it dived into sand and hit one??

I suppose it's possible that a leopard wrasse could injure itself on a buried obstruction when diving into the sand. I've not knowingly had this happen, though on occasion a newly acquired fish goes into the sand never to be seen again. Pure speculation as to cause though.

Thanks for advice!! The tank's a red sea max 250. It's currently got some blue green chromis, a red spot flymo blenny and a few corals. It's only about 3 months old, so hasn't go a huge copepod population (if that's why u were asking how mature it was), but the guy at LFS said that I can get one that takes frozen food.
