Can anyone tell me something about this coral.
Is it hardy?
How much flow?
How much lighting?
hard to get or fairly easy?
what colors do they come in?

I do have one that is purple and green 3". I want to know where to place it in my tank. As of now it is mid-way up with high flow...

Thanks

ps i dont have any pictures yet.

i have a couple leptastrea and they all require pretty typical lps care low-low/medium light and low-low/medium flow. they dont require feeding but will except small treats like cyclopeeze

Mine love high-flow, but not really keen on light (they lighten up dramatically with too much light). I keep them partially shaded for best color.

Lots of meaty foods (cyclops, shaved mysis, oyster eggs) 2-3x per week, and they'll grow very well. Faster than B. wellsi/merletti, but slower than Acros & Montis.

They lose to *everything* in the chemical/stinging battles, and don't slough detritus/sand well at all, so keep them clean.

If yours has the commensal hermits/crabs, keep the "poop" blown off, or it will create dead spots around the housings.
