Let`s see those Scolys

Very ncie Scoly!!

The one thing I don't like about Cherry Corals is they BOMBARD their corals with actinic lighting and PS them to remove the excess blue from the photo...making the coral look insane compaired to what it may look like in your tank.

Don't get me wrong...that is a sick looking scoly! :D

I just wish some of these online vendors would take more realistic photographs as to what it may look more correctly in a person's tank.

I'm hoping it comes as advertised, but if not you live and you learn. Your Fiji Sunset Scoly is definitely a show stopper as well, I've been watching it on e-bay.

Dwanner, I really hope it comes as advertised. I know Cherry Coral's stuff is supposed to be top notch so, I would sure expect it to hold its own. :)

I don't think you will be disapointed in any way with that one! That thing is totally NEON to the MAX! :D

Thx Sheol, I am going to try tonight to see if I can pull a night shot off or not. Problem is, I can't find the stinking little mount that goes on the bottom of my Canon 50D to allow it to mount to the Tripod. I will have to see if I have my OLD (like 20+yr old lol) tripod that I use as a backup.

here are mine:spin1:

^^ Very nice! :D

Look real nice and healthy!

Sheol, I tried last night to take the photo...took about 2 dozen and tried even editing in PS....but to no avail. I will try again tonight. See, I don't have actinic systems to really make them pop out as one of the balasts for my supplemental lighting went bad and I am just going to replace the whole old PC system with T5's for the Actinic supplementation.

I am going to try something later today. I am going to try and take some of the red/green ricordias I have and put them next to the scoly and take some photos to see if I can't match the color any better.

I just can't seem to get the photos like Eric's. (I do only have one whimpy Actinic 96w PC lamp over that tank...the rest of the lighting is MH's running 14K's. This is why I have been contimplating replacing the MH hood with a nice T5 System. That way I could get some stronger coloration out of this coral and others.

Any thoughts?

Couldn't help my self, I've eyeing this one up on cherry corals and I finally convinced myself to pull the trigger!

AH SO THAT'S WHERE THEY BOTH WENT!!!!!!!! I just couldn't bring myself to do it. At least not until I paid off the last 2. I picked up the "solar flare" scoly and the "wheel of fire" he had available the week before. Let me know how that plutonium looks in your tank.

They definitely do not give Scolys away these days!!!! How do your Scolys look? Where the pictures on the website fairly accurate? I will post some pictures of my Scoly collection after I get everything in and acclimated!!

WOW, Those are really insane Aussies ( I think..) there, Ericung. The prices they want here that would set me back about 1,ooo bucks. EASY.

The scolys look good. Neither looks as good as it did on the site, however they are both still nice. My bulbs need to be replaced so I'm hoping they will only get better. I'm far from disappointed.

couple new ones.....
