Man, I feel so inadequate. My photos sucked. And that is being kind. These are killer Macro shots guys. Just simply gorgeous & amazing!

Awesome!!

Awesome!!

Those are all beautiful Scolys but one question to you all that have more than one. Some of you have several. How the heck do you afford all those!!! They go for upwards or 300 to 500 bucks for the really pretty ones. Your looking at a 1500.00 to 2000.00 for some of you with several. That's alot of money for corals. I love them but can't seem to part with that kind of cash for one coral. I have seen them for under 200 and sometimes just over 130.00 for some mostly at Unique corals and Fosters and Smith. One on Unique is going for a 1000.00!!!! :spin2: Unreal. For all of you that can afford them, Very nice pics.

Yeah, I know. I drool over the Aussies but even if I were'nt currently between jobs, it would be hard to justify that kind of spending.

Well lots of trading and selling to afford them for me. I do splurge every once and a while. Mostly trading.

Its an addiction. My 5 Scolys are as bad as my 5 Rhizos.:eek1:

I'm also eyeballing another Rhizo but I need to see it when it isn't stressed out. I have a standing order for any Scoly at a couple places as long as it has more than 5 colors!!! I'm getting pretty spoiled with that Valentine's Day Scoly.

your right about that

your right about that

I would say it probably is for those who have several. I had one that i bought locally here and it was only 100.00. It has since passed and i vowed never again to spend that. This hobby is addictive, but man have i spent way to much money on it. Once something dies i usually don't get it again. i know what it was that killed it but just don't wanna take that chance again. My passion is traveling and i want to do that this year and go to a nice spot to scuba dive. Two hobbies that are expensive. Can't afford any more hobbies. But they are all very nice pics. The best Scolys is have seen for sale are from Unique Corals and Divers Den. I saw a couple on Reef Hot but kinda pricey if you ask me. Those others ones are more reasonable.
