thx for the reply... i just mailed the importer about the cirrhilabrus... now i have a female attenuates... but no male... i have a male pintail fairy and no female and i have a male yellowfin flasher and no female ... :spin2::headwalls:

those species are not so common with the imports overhere... any idee what the price of a cirrhilabrus lanceolatus is at the moment? i paid about 90€ so thats about 100$

I never do harems. I generally stick with one male or female per species. I mix fairies and flashers in my tanks but I do it via acclimation boxes so they get used to each other. The only duplicates I have in my tank are two cf. cyanopleura.

I will not have harems too.. my intention was only one pair of P.attenuates and i bought a pair attenuates from a kenya import but my male died after a few days by an attack from a dwarfangel and i wanted to buy another male... but unfortunally like you say it was not a Paracheilinus but cirrhilabrus.. like i said before i am new in these kind of fishes but have for 18 years my saltwatertank... i have order a new tank some bigger and i want a whole new different kind of fishes...and not to big fishes... so thats why i came on this kind of fishes..

Into my new tank i am intend to hold 2 or 3 flasher males from different species... together with one of the two dwarfangels (multicolor) and some smaller gobies wich i have already in my tank now meiacanthus, coralgoby,emblemaria pandionis etc...

a part of my other fishes will be sold.. like dwarfangel eibli (bully) , my two surgeons, and the two clownfishes

Sounds good. I don't usually keep multiples of species because a female will generally turn male eventually. I do have 2 female Macropharyngodon meleagris but leopards are my exception.

well we will see if i can get a male of paracheilinus and else i hope she turn into it normally i am not much into wrasses but i like the ones who doesn't digg into the sand :fish1:

IME, you're better off this way. Single specimen's tend to transition to male with other wrasses present, and with multiple males of different species, you'll still get flashing and displays amongst them.

Man, I wish mine would flash like that. He is very outgoing and not intimidated by anyone but rarely flashes. He was very small when I got him. Maybe he'll become more aggressive as he gets older.

okay the new tank is set up... unfortunally i lost cirrhilabrus cf lanceolatus but i bought a paracheilinus sp... (in shop they said paracheilinus cyaneus) its quite a little one yet... about 1,60 inch but looks like this one (not my picture)
