Let's get together!

Hi Everyone!
I just wanted to post a quick hello. I have been out if the hobby for a few years and I am just getting back in. I just found this forum and I am very excited that we have a club in Ocala/ Marion county. I have been looking at the posts and I am noticing that we don't have a lot of traffic on "our" forum. I was thinking it would be great to have a get together, maybe arrange a coral swap?!? Let me know if there is any interest. Would be awesome if we could built the club membership up!

I'm not sure what is going on with M. O. R. E. ...... They have a Facebook page if your interested but seems like the hobby is in a drought around Marion and Alachua County lately.. There is also a reef club in Gainesville little more activity there..... Hope this helps

I would be up for having a get together. I don't know if the "MORE" club is still up and going (I don't have facebook). I would be fine with just doing an informal type meeting/frag swap whatever. If someone still associated with MORE has any comments I would still be happy to do that as well.

If we can't get something going for a club type meeting I am still happy to meet up/trade frags/whatever. I am in SW Ocala.

Thanks,
Ed

Anyone know if theres something like this...but for Citrus County?

Not that I know of, but you could always try to reach out to other people in your area. I've hosted a couple meetings over the years (one with the Gainesville club and once with MORE) and I had a few people from Citrus show up. I'm on hwy 484, so I'm not too far from Inverness if you want to meet up.

Thanks,
Ed

Hey Ed that's sounds great if we can get a meet up planned and maybe the club members can chime in but I'm also gonna need your help once I get the 180 up and running because I will need some frags :-)

Sure thing, Aaron. Let me know if you need any help/have any questions setting up the tank. I am also happy to trade reef stuff/frags as well.

Thanks,
Ed
