Let's hear your SPS wish list

I just noticed your occupation, and seeing as your a financial planner you should know better than setting up a reef tank :)

Don't worry, I knew you were joking. The good thing is that the Santa Rosa market has been hit harder than Roseville, so I will be able to afford more house over there now than I could have before. The hard part is finding a house with a good place to setup my reef tank!!!!

You should definitely check out my set up, Jeff's and Mike's too, we all have remote sump in the garage and it has worked very well for us.

LOL!!! So very true, TikiDan. Hello, my name is Jeremy and I am a reef addict. I admit to spending vast sums of hard earned money just to sit in a chair and stare at a bowl full of water which have the ability to elate and devastate. My name is Jeremy, and I AM AN ADDICT!

Northbay-reefer,
Yeah, my plan is to have a remote setup. Problem 1 is that I want a garage for 2 cars with room left for a work area or sump area, and that is surprisingly hard to find. Most houses seem to have tiny 2 cars and that just won't do!
Otherwise I want a room that I can sink the tank into the wall and have the sump & gear located there, or have some way to run the plumbing outside or under the house. I also need a good wall for the 80" long tank, but all the houses seem to have the darndest, yes, I said darndest, things in the way. Who needs windows anyhow when you can have a reef tank.:bum:
Anyhow, decided to put off on looking for awhile until we at least start getting some offers in on ours. We can always crash with my parents in Healdsburg if our house has sold and we haven't found a new place yet.

Yeah I know what you mean, also they put the fire place where the TV should be too

Another possibility is to drill through the side of the house and install a shed for remote sump and then use sunlight for the fuge.

Yeah, been thinking about that, and the only downside would be servicing during bad weather, checking and cleaning skimmer, etc. That, and I would have to build it and make sure it was well insulated. Possibly need to deal with permits, as I know you would here in Roseville. Assuming you bothered to follow the "rules". Still a viable option though. Who knows.

Oh, and TikiDan. Being a financial planner means I tell OTHER PEOPLE how to save and invest their money. Doesn't mean I necessarily need to follow my own advice.

Most of the houses around Jeff and I are three car garages. You could always look at houses in Windsor. Jeff's wife is an excellent agent too.

Yeah, Windsor is a possibility, but the wife really wants to live over near Howarth Park. We'll see whenever this house sells.

On another topic, I keep going back and looking at these frags, and finally couldn't resist. As I have already admitted, I am an addict. I ordered them and should get them Friday.
