Wow your tank looks great!

thanks! saw your new(to me) rock work, it looks sweet. i just got some 20k radiums, i'm definity liking them! sorry for the poor quality photo, all i have is my phone.

i guess i'm gunna need to subscribe to the monterey forum, i've been missing some good stuff on here.

Welcome aboard. The more the merrier. Here is a pic of the most recent rock work now that I am trying to keep mostly sps and get rid of more of the softies. You cant really see any of the frags because they are to small but hopefully they will start to grow out soon.

radiums! Be prepared for even faster growth than when you had your phoenix's; they have a lot more PAR and are defnitely more intense bulbs. I bet your tank looks sick as hell now that you got new bulbs all around. What t5's did you get?

I need a new bulb soon as I'm over the fast growth and having to frag every water change. Hoping the ushio 20k will fit the bill.

Did you hook up your dosers to the ACjr or do you have them on timers?

yeah man I went with the radiums and they are awesome, everything in the tank is lookin real nice. I just got those attinics bulbs I was tellin you about.
I hooked my new dosing pumps up to that ACjr I used to have on my 29gBC but that control is a pile of crap and malfunctioned last night and didn't turn the pumps off after it started to dose, good thing I caught it.. I'm gunna try and call Neptune today but in the mean time I was wondering where you got the timers for your pumps? In salinas somewhere? Or did you order them?

Nice! I bet it looks awesome with the those brand new actinics. Yeah, that is scary, good thing you were home to catch it. One time when i was reprogramming my timers I messed up on the Ca one and set it to run for 24 hours straight. I didn't catch it, and unfortunately it pumped an entire, recently filled bottle of Ca in my tank over the course of a few days. My Ca shot up so high that I could barley get a reading with a test kit. I ended up losing some stuff but it wasn't nearly as bad as you would think. Had it been the Alk bottle it would've been the end to my tank for sure.

I ordered them online, I couldn't find any legit ones around here. Premo bought some digital ones from home depot and they were the biggest POS ever. I use these: http://www.growlightexpress.com/tim...mer-521.html?zenid=fneva1tp6soa3ajkco24cvg6l1

I've never had a problem with them, and they definitely hold all of your settings when yo have a power outage which is nice.

Damn, I was hoping this dosing pump ordeal was going to be over.. Last night the alk pump wasthe one that didn't shut off so I woulda been screwed cause that's a full bottle.. I doubt Neptune is gunna replace parts to that ACjr seeing as how it's more than a yeAr old. We'll see tho. Thanks for pointing out those timers

Went over to PP today, picked up 3 chromis. I wanted some schooling fish and these guys were real small so it worked out well.
