thanks bro. my ways are unteachable..
nah, it is cropped.. and of course manipulated- I have to work on each image for quite a while to bring the colors back from the heavy blue caste that my lighting throws. I tried to drop the saturation on the background so the green and red really popped.. I want to get some shots (or better yet videos..) of this piece eating.. It eats like a champ and the tissue swells and grows like crazy in response.
