In my club forum we've been posting flow videos lately as a lot of us have started using mods on our MJs and now I'd like to see some video of some other SPS fanatics' flow. I know a lot of you are using some serious flow so who's game?

Are you guys using a wave timer for the maxijets. HOw do you keep the tank from blowing everywhere with the maxis thanx Kevin

No wave timer on mine... they're all constantly on. They are on opposite ends of a 5 ft tank and the flow meets in the middle creating some pretty nice turbulence. At first the front of my sand bed was getting blown away but after some experimental positioning my sand stays put now.

I have heard mixed reviews on their ability to constantly restart when used with wave timers. The mods usually involve a stopper. When the propeller is spinning the wrong way on a restart it will fly forward into the stopper and start spinning in the right direction. Too many collisions between stopper and propeller seem to make things start going awry.

Hey dream where can i buy the maxijet mods at. I am no mechanical engineer by any means. I would just buy the mod and install it. thanx Kevin

I got mine from someone in the selling forum a few months back... A lot of people in my club bought their parts from mjmods.com as far as I know. If you can find the threads here on how to make your own it may end up being a bit cheaper than that website but only if you already have the tools you need.

Sweet tank concept3!

More, more, more... =)

i just took a video within the last 5 minutes, just waiting to upload all 95 seconds of it....

stay tuned, and YES, this time it includes my milli dancing :D

thanks for the compliment, that was taken months back, I no longer have that humongous SPS in the middle, it got too big for my tank.

The Kit on mjmods is really simple to put together...No tools really needed. I know there is a site that sells a complete unit (housing and impeller) but its like $70...It does include a warranty but I have found mjmods to have a nice quality product....And there a RC sponsor.

Ok, here it is, took a little longer to upload than expected.

Pardon the Sade Adu music in the background
