Lets see some hornet pictures (any color)

like title says i would love to see some of your hernets and how they ended up looking in your tanks after buying them. i finally got a few polyps of the Blue hornets and am working on getting a few purples hornets right now. would just love to see the difference it will make from tank to tank.

BTW here is 1 of the frags i got. not the best picture but it seems very sensitive to any movement at all.

hmm, 1 more thing i must ask those who have blue hornets... what kind of lights are all those crazy color pictures taken under? this has the same color but it just isnt intense like those are.

Those look like African Blue Zoos not Hornets... Please correct me if I'm wrong. as the skirts do not show alternating colors.

SHHHH!!! i wanna feel special and have a hornet in my tank :lol: on another note its hard to really see the true colors and the paterns of the polyp in the crappy picture i took.

i paid $10 a polyp for mine. i never like to pay that much for any polyp but after seeing them localy and seeing the color of this zoa i couldnt resit buying some for myself. i am truly addicted to zoanthids and when i see something i dont have i must buy it eventualy. on the bad side of that, my next purchase is going to be some purple hornets i think. i just cant swallow the $50++ per polyp price..... i think i need a second job just to support my addiction

I have heard that the blue and purple hornets are the exact same thing just change color under different lighting. You might want to look into that before paying for the purple ones. I'm not sure though, because I don't have either.

I've had them for about 6-7 months. Growth is okay not as fast as most but that's good since they're in an sps tank and I dont want them to spread.

Those have a name a believe and just can't rememer with the millions of crazy names out there. But nevert the less, nice.

Mchava, not sure, but those look like the PHE Red Rings. Coralpedia is calling them Red Ringed Purple Hearted Zoanthids. The only difference I see is the skirt color, but that could be a lighting issue. Yours are beautiful and I think they'd look much better in my tank!!! So, let me know when you want me to PM you my address....lol.
