Nick,

It's a pagoda...just not a "cup" one...it was pretty unique, which is why I snagged it.

Peace,

Chip

Chip,

What kind coral on the left side of the first picture (green with red eyes)? It's really nice. Where did you get it?

That's an echinophyllia. I think I got it from Tony (AtlanticReef) about 9-10 months ago. Here's a better shot of it :

That shot is from last June.

Jmlee,
i lost this tank a few years back, but the water parameters were kept as follow, Nitrate <5 nitrite<5 Ammonia 0, PH8.4-8.2 I dose Kalwasser every day and use Rowaphos in the canister filter to keep teh phosphates to a minimun.

Here's my 50g, sumpless, skimmerless and reactorless.

Pic taken under MH 175-20k bulb with 2 t-5 actinics. Used an old
point and shoot camera - no photoshop. Dennis

so, whats the point of supplimenting a 20k MH with additional actinics? does it just make it more blue?

nice pic by the way.

Very nice tank LP Dave.I love LPS corals too,the new 75 i just setup is gonna be 100% LPS.I noticed under your sig, this is a 180gal starboard tank.Do you just have sand in the front half of the tank?
