Lets see some tunze skimmate!

Just got my 9002 dialed in, but still on the wet side. With only dry rock and live sand 10 days into the cycle, the skimmer is pulling out some nasty stuff. After only 24hrs, below is what you get, along with some crystal clear water.

You won't get it much darker than that with a 9002 unless you lower the water level. I prefer wet skim anyway, looks good!

I may still try that after seeing the initial results. Right now I'm dead on the water line, but that just happens to be a coincidence. I tweaked the hanging setup so I have a different range of adjustability (notice it's mounted on its side, rather than the stock config), so I'll probably lift it 1/2" and run another 1/2 to full turn out on the screw.

Anyone have suggestions on running the 9010 wetter, I have the adjustable mod on the outlet and the airscrew off so that the air inlet all the way open, but cannot seem to skim any wetter than a medium /dark colored skimmate, (A little stinky but not too stinky). I really want to go a little wetter, but cannot seem to get it there.

Should I lower the water level or make it higher in the skimmer body? I assume I would want as much air as possible as well. I also have a 9015 collection cup, but that just makes the skimmate too dry (nice stinky dry) for now.

BTW, with my current 9010 cup and mod, I get about 100ml/day. I only have a couple of fish in my 92g, and feed every other day, so maybe I cannot expect more...

Thanks for the help
