I think it looks pretty nice. I just sold my gen 1 ai unit and pre ordered the new tri color which ai unit which will be out next week. I think this will help a ton with getting the color temp I want as well as those sps colors I'm looking for.

Do you have a site I could read up on the new fixture?

It's an Italian brand called Aqualiving, the size is pesonalized as the tank has strange sizes
as it's dimmerable i have 100% white and 80% blues........energy consumption is 870W instead of 2500W ihad with the previous lights (HQI + T5)

well, it does initially but it pays back in a year or so.....after that it's all money saving

well the lighting has been developped thanks lots of beta-testers here in Italy

in here the electricity costs a fortune and therefore the only way to give strong light to our corals is to develop the LED tecnologies

Lucas electricity here is also a fortune LOL. Is just a matter of how big or little of a fortune.

Excellent system! I will be supplementing my tank with some t5's to obtain the spectrum I want. Project is currently underway.

I currently supplement my tank with two 54 watt T5's to get the color I want, but I'm thinking about using some of the stunner strips from Ecoxotic to replicate the blue of a ATI Blue Plus bulbs and the purple ones to match the KZ Fiji Purple, but on a 75 gallon I will need two of each...any thoughts?

IMO using a sunner strip will not make a dent in the led unit color. I had as supps in my tank 10 powerbrites which I tried prior to deciding on the t5's and they did not make any difference when the LEDS where at 100% white.

I think this combinaqtion that I picked will allowed me to use the AI's at 100% white and match my 400 watt 20 k raium look while playing with the LED's. As far as wattage not much will be added with the t5's:thumbsup:
