Nobody here has a long term LTA that they can share photos of?
I guess they are harder to keep than I thought. Google has some amazing images of mature specimens that sure are pretty. Was hoping someone here could share their success.
I've had a number of them, 5 and a half years was the longest I had an LTA/doreensis, and that would have kept going I'm sure if I didn't sell it w/ the tank in a downsize.
I have to hunt pics, but mine was green, not purple or blue.
I have one that I have been saying is 8 or 10 years old for the last few years!
I wouldnt be suprised If I havent had it much longer! But seriously it also is a green, and my other ones are more red than purple. I think my youngest one I got 3 years ao or so. I think LTA are the ideal anemone. As long as you get one with a good foot, and it doesnt get injured- they are pretty bulletproof. Not as easy as a BTA, but barely- and the fact they stay off the rock is a big bonus in a mixed tank. You do need decent lighting though for a LTA for the same reason- they cant climb closer to the light!
