To those who emailed me, I only have 7 of those rhodactis and I do not cut/hurt them in any way. Propagation is totally up to them, nothing artificial or induced. Even transfering to another plug is totally up to them. I place plugs around the colony and wait until one moves to it and move the plug away (there is a plug with two that moved at the same time). That's probably why they look good. So far I have 3 occupied plugs plus the mother colony. I will release them to the public at the same time. In the meantime, I am keeping a record of their characteristics so I can give care tips to others who will someday acquire them.
