It's almost on the bottom directly under a 400w Radium on an HQI ballast. High flow area, but not aimed directly at the coral.

cward, what is the SPS that is to the left of the BN in the picture...It looks like what I would call a "Larry Jackson" but I am not sure what everyone else calls it.

dkle, I have that same Green BN, but mine is very bleached :(. I have it about half way up in my 75g with the same 250w Phoenix bulbs. It gets a good amount of flow as well. Im not sure if its starving or what because of my water quality (most of my corals are very light/pastel in color). Just curious but what photo period do you run?

cward how did you do that cap and BN ??? is there a war for space going on between them ??? etc
Matt

It was actually about a 3"X3" frag of cap that I placed underneath the birdsnest. I really didn't plan on it circling around, but I'm glad it did. The cap gets stung, but the growth between the two has balanced out.

Cward I really admire you tank....I love the size of the colonies you have been able to obtain. The color choices and balance you have made are really cool.....keep up the great work.

Dkle, beautiful corals you have there! =)

This is my pink birdsnest (with a tiny touch of green). I got this as a 1" frag. I placed it high in the tank at first but when it began looking bleached, I moved it to the bottom. It darkened back up to a nice pink and then really suprised me when it started showing some hints of green.

I like the 2 tone color of it. Unfortunately, I don't think the green will ever get any brighter. Its been like this for several months without any color change. I can hope though!

Some very nice seri's. Always found the pink ones needed very high light to get intense pink colouration.

sacramentodots,
Thank you very much for the compliment:) I really have to give credit to my friend Jason Hollback for taking some great pictures of my tank earlier this year. I wish I had the photo skills that you guys have.

My birdsnest, this pic is a few months old, looking at it I realize it has almost doubled in size since then.
