What lighting to you have on the Meteor Shower? I have mine in lower light and it has grown considerably, but the base color is brown/green with red-pink polyps. Thanks.

I like that branching one in the first post the most. I have a meteor shower but a tank crash 2 months ago has left it in horrible shape, it's just starting to color up again.

its funny... I've been reefing for almost 6 years (10 years salt though) and I just learned about cyphastrea. I'm going to glue some on some tonga and see what happens.

Yeah, I was 5 years into reefing before I saw my first. I held off on the impulse buy because I thought it was an SPS and I did not have enough lighting. After I researched it I went back to get it and it was gone . It took me another 1.5 years to find another specimen of good size.

I would definetly frag and glue a piece the sooner you do it the sooner it can start encrusting.

Here's one of mine.

I want some type of cyphastreas so bad but my LFS never gets any in!! How fast do they grow? Love the neon green one and the meteor shower stylaster

Mine grows quickly as well. I've had some trouble with it, but it's recovering now. Give it medium/low'ish light and enough flow to keep it clean and it will do well.
