I was sorting through some of my tank pictures and wanted to show my Naso lituratus. I've had this tang for almost one year. She's an energetic and swimmer, peaceful, and a nori/algae pig. The absence of streamers on the caudal fin suggest its a female, however I do not if this is a 100% id. It's grow someone near a half a inch in length and currently around 7", but has widened considerable from the local LFS where I purchased.
I support the recommended tank length of 8 ft as my 6 ft appears short given the tang's speed and corresponding ability to swim end to end. More excuses for a longer and bigger tank
