I just recieved my first ORA clam from my friends at The Logical Reef. He is 2"

Sorry for my poor photography skills, Im still a film dinosour lol digitals just dont make any sence to me, sorry for the algae outbreak, went out of state and had some equipment break on me, had to order replacement equipment and low and behold most stuff is slways on back order...hopefully soon when I get all my gear functioning properly it will shape up and clean up more....most of the maximas are ORAs from the marshall island farm, four of the nicelest ones are from clams direct, one little guy is still recovering from pinched mantel...you can tell from the progression of photos....

Here are four I got from clamsdirect last week. They have been doing very well in my tank. Need to get some updated pics. The fifth (last) max is one that I have had for about a month and half.

We are shipping about 20 clams as a group order, it's runing about 90 bucks to overnight the large box. 90 split 20 ways, is only about 5 bucks per clam. It's a great deal on some great clams!

my four where something like 60 bucks to overnight. heh, thats more than one of the clams cost.

your tank is pretty sweet man, I was down in the Rio Grande Vally last week but did not have time to stop by corpus...would not mind seeing that tank in person some day. but my plane did circle several timesover corpus wating for the weather to line out in Houston...

Be sure to quarteen them, there is a nasty protazoan infection flosting around, now I have to treat all my clams in a hosiptal tank....for a long time..

do you treat them with anything...I'm assuming this infection you're talking about will jump from clam to clam?
