Well, I finally put the Bellae into the tank after a few weeks in QT where it was doing great. He did good in the display for the first few days but I havn't been able to see him all day! Im pretty worried but there is nothing I can do for him at this point. All the other fish are doing great including a pair of Ventralis anthias! its crazy to me that the ventralis are fine but I can't find the bells!!!

I will bet he comes out soon. Mine found a spot where all I could see was his head, But after I added the blue flasher and the linespot flasher, he was no longer the "new guy" and he is out all the time now. Don't get too worried just yet.

I thought about that... But i added 10 fish with him so there was a whole mix of new guys! and he was out the first day or two. I really really hope he is still alive because he was doing soo good in QT...

Ryan got his a bit before me from the same place. PIA
I hope he comes out still. I haven't given up hope.

Gotcha, thanks Brad. I remember they had two of them.

I'm still desperately looking for an Attenuatus wrasse...I want one really bad.

I found him!!! I have been sooo upset and I got home from work this morning and walked by the tank and he swam out of the rocks! Im stoaked! I threw some more food in and he was eating aggressivley and swimming around like he always had!!!

Thats so good to hear. Congrats.

Never had a dought. LOL

That's fantastic Ryan. They seem to be very hardy fish. Mine is very aggressive when it comes to feeding. So I'm under the impression that they will do very well in our tanks.
Again, that;s awsome he came out finally.

So who is the boss wrasse of your tank ?
my current list of wrasse include a pair of Paracheilinus octotaenia, a super male flame wrasse, Cirrhilabrus condei with really odd coloring, Paracheilinus lineopunctatus. the flame has been with me around 2 years and is by far the tank boss, he occasionaly goes on his rampage chasing everyone in the tank to let them know not to mess with him.

thank you sooo much for your belief in him. I had lost hope although I was hoping he would show up every time I walked by the tank. Then after a few days of him hiding he just popped out of some rocks and started eating! Im so excited. I ran into my bedroom and told my wife like a little kid!

All three of them are doing great. Here are a couple of new shots I liked of the Bellae. Pretty colorful. LOL

Brad, see if you can get us a shot of the Bellae flashing. would love to see that pic. Just wondering, how many females do you have in your tank?

I'm still waiting for him to flash and see it in my own eyes. But when he does, I will be trying to get a picture. I'm not sure I have any females anymore. Most have turned male.

how many wrasses can you keep together? I thought they would start fighting...

Wrasses are a very broad group of fish from little cleaners to giant parrot fish and everything in between. It would be difficult to make any generalizations about all wrasses for aquaria. Many peaceful wrasse species can cohabit if the tank size and environment are suitable. I have two leopards, a possum and a yellow "coris" in my tank along with other fish. And it's very peaceful.

Cheers.:hmm5:
