I did a search and couldnt find a thread on this so I figured I'd make one. Single polyp frags are alright but nothing beats a mature, healthy and established colony.My picture skills arnt the greatest but I'll go first.

So what is the magical number to consider something a colony and no longer a frag?

I have 3 that have more than 30 polyps each (same color morph) but not sure if they would be considered a large frag or a small colony.

Two of them have spread off the original rock I put down and are attaching to the other rock.

Just curious what others think btw.

If its outgrown the frag plug completly, it can be considerd a colony. IMO
