As stated i am setting up a 240 peninsula going to have many tangs so i am considering a uv sterilizer.
Who runs them?
What size?
What Brand?

Since you mention tangs I assume you want one for ich. They don't work against ich in a recirculating system.

Use the money and set up a good QT system.

People do a lot of things. UV isn't very effective against ich. If you want to treat your fish for prophylactic reasons in quarantine you might consider copper.

They're extremely popular at LFS though because they cost a lot of money and then require regular replacement of expensive bulbs and sleeves.
