I did for awhile (about a month). Then he rode the currents in my tank to the intake of a ph. I pulled him out, but I think he was already a gonner. I believe the first one I ever got met that same fate ( I just didn't see it).
I have had 3 over the years, not worth it for me. Like "Kaos" said, mine road the currents too often. Granted I have a good amount of flow in my tanks.
