Can anyone comment about something I have not seen very clear documentation regarding Levamisole treatment and AEFW?
I have already done an initial dip and scrape with coralRX in a completely seperate container last week. Now I am into treatment where the display lies fallow for a month or two without SPS; which are currently kept in a 40G QT.
I don't have (m)any AEFW visible any longer to foul up the QT, but after my first dose to 40PPM do I need to change ALL of the water in the QT or just do 50% and run carbon? I am not sure at all about whether or not this drug is harmful with prolonged exposure. I am trying to minimize the amount of time these corals get moved around or exposed to air, a 100% water change will force on or the other.
Again, I am really dosing Levamisole to keep larval stage AEFWs from developing and laying more eggs, they are for all intents and purposes gone.
Any thoughts?
