So here is the question, how level is level. I have an in-wall 180 setup and I am 1/16th off from left to right. Is this OK?

This topic ought to be a sticky somewhere. There are a lot of different opinions on this which is why I get concerned.

The tank is 2' deep by 6' wide (typical 180') and has corner overflows.

I have heard some say that my overflows won't work right being a 16th of an inch off.

I have heard it causes stress to the tank. I wish someone with a lot of experience could speak up, I have a few years and my opinion is it will be fine, but I like to hear from folks that have already had big tanks and have dealt with the issues.

The stand is made of wood and expands and contracts a bit anyway. I would also like to know the strictness of the tank makers themselves. How exact is the trim and silicone.

start filling it with water. a good 8-10 inches deep. then measure near each corner inside the tank and compare measurements. shim any corner showing a greater depth. 1/16 of an inch left to right isn't bad. different story if it is off say front right to rear left.
