hi everyone i am still preety new to this even though i have been at it about 5-6 months i was just wondering if you guys could list the acceptable levels for a reef tank EX.
calcium
temp
orp
ph
nitrates
etc.

Not sure if this is acceptable but I shoot for these:

calcium: 420
temp: 79 - 82 (no chiller)
orp: Never measured
ph: 8.1
nitrates: 0
Alk: 9 dKH

calcium = 420-450
temp = 77-82 (stability is more important than actual temp)
orp = around 400
ph = 8.1-8.3
nitrates = 0


Here are some that you didnt list
Ammonia = 0
Nitrite = 0
Phosphates = 0
Magnesium = 1300
Alkalinity = 10 dkh

Ca 400 - some literature suggests over 380ish there is no further benefit. I'm also running lower to minimize precipitation.

Alk 9-9.3 dkh
temp 79-81 no chiller
ph 8.25
no2 -0
no3 - 0

po4 - don't know. 0 on Saliferts but I know its there
Mg - 1350
orp - don't measure

Yes that was a great link I thank you too!
I also relize I have a couple issues
1. I need to bring my Alk and DKh up
2. I need to bring my Calc up

Does any body have any suggestions Ive been adding buffer but it isnt bringing up my kh is 6.88 and was at 2.45 it seems to have started getting out of wak when I started doesing my tank with purple up.

That is what I use for Ca, Alk, and Mg. Based on the recent group buy, I think a lot of locals use the same recipes. If you're not as frugal, there's a similar product called B-Ionic, or you can install a calcium reactor.
