LF Anemone Substitute

I've been intimidated by all the negative feedback about the difficulty of keeping an anemone alive. I'm thinking of getting a coral that would be a good substitute for a pair of clowns. What would be some good ones?

P.S. It's a 125 gal

I have a Mammoth blue carpet I'm trying to rehome right now, its easy to take care of, very easy to feed, just sits in one place, very beautiful.

I've heard that larger colonies of Torch/Frogspawn can become home for Clowns.

I have one that hosts with my elegance but I also see her hang out in a large frogspawn. I have another clown that hosts with a small frogspawn.

I've kinda been eyeing the Elegance coral. I've been thinking of getting one for a while. I have some small frogspawn too.

I'll do more research on the carpet anemone and see.

Thanks

IMHO elegance should only be kept if you test kh,cal.,mag. On the otherhand I always look to my elegance as a indicator of water. When anything is off a little it tells me. kh 7-8 it is not as big. I add alk and an hour later it is back to giant.

do you have any pics of the carpet?

I agree with the anemone is easier to keep than an elegance feeling. That is particularly true if you are talking about a bubble tip. They are pretty easy to keep. My first one is still alive. It has made it through two mini cycles from moving that took out many corals.
