LF: Black clownfish today

Hello to all

Today i am looking for an black Ocellaris Clownfish.

I have had a black perc for about 4 years and recently added 2 true percs they have all been great no fighting. however i am looking for another black perc to make it to pairs as the true percs i have are a pair.


I really need this fish today as today is the only day i have to pick up a fish.

my current black perc is about 2 1/2 inches and is nice and fat lol

Try contacting Miguel, he's the local clown farmer with some nice stuff. I believe he has black percs but I'm not 100% sure. You can search for him on craigslist.

Yea it's tough. Plenty of black with orange tips or spots but no true full black and white anywhere. Gonna check the LFS today as most get shipments today. Hopefully I can score one.

I have read that the ones with the orange on the mouths will eventually turn all black and white....

Does anyone else have experience with this or is this bogus?

Yes they do turn completely black, those are the ones that's still juveniles. I have 1 and she's completely black.

Victor has 2 of them at Coral Kingdom. Juveniles BTW

Didn't know that. Mine was all black when I got them tiny now she's huge. Need a partner for her hopefully she takes to the new one. She's getting along nice with my new pair .

Goons see about heading up to browsers this weekend to pick one up all the ones I have seen are tiny. Too small I think for mine. I know they have to be small. But didn't want it too small

They turn fully black pretty quick, I actually like that look over the fully black. Gives it a little more contrast

Might be late but if anyone else is looking for them since I saw this thread yesterday..."Ocean View Aquarium" on Bird road & 68 as of right now they have 4. $35 for each & $60 for a pair.

Have you tried exotic aquatics on Oakland Park Blvd.

I got my Allardis pair there and when I bought them they also had the full black and white mated pairs.

thanks for all the replies. i havent picked one up yet. i might go check out ocean view since there not to far from me. if i dont pick one ill head on up to broward later this week. i know a couple more places are getting shipments today so i should be able to find a nice one today.
