Just go out into the Gulf and lift up some rocks. They are easy to find where you live!

That seems like a good way to catch a pest species as well as bring foreign Protozoa/bacteria into your tank.

The store I shop at purchases their livestock from suppliers who quarantine.

I guarantee your store/supplier isn't qting anything. They would be out of business or have to charge a hell of a lot more than their competition. They may run meds in the fish run or dip corals, but inverts are going right in. They are not isolating new shipments for 6 weeks. Which would be proper qt.
