LF Copperband or filefish

He bought my 40b tank that I could not keep up with, and yes it did have a lot of aiptasia.

Do not waiste your money on the copper band to eat aiptasia. Some will others wont. Yet they are a cool fish to have. Get the file fish.

Marine Solutions had some the other day when I was in there. A few different ones and in all sizes.

Another vote for not using a Copperband Butterflyfish! They are very delicate and even with experienced reef keepers will die for apparently no reason. Beautiful fish that require appropriate tank mates and focused feeding, care and most importantly selection.

The filefish that Rams gave me was awesome until he jumped from my fudge, my fault there. They work very well and they're cheap.

I also had aiptasia in my big tank. I put one of the file fish in and all aiptasia are gone. I have not seen him bother anything, except when my clowns lay eggs. Then the clowns beat the crap out of him, while he is trying to get to the eggs. He is a cool fish. Eats flakes and when my family comes over who nows nothing about salt water, They think he is the coolest looking fish. You can't have beauty if there is not a beast. Beautiful-ugly fish.

+1 for filefish. I think I will always keep one in my displays from now on. A fish that serves a purpose and is ugly enough to catch anyones attention.
