LF Cube tank

Reaching a broader area.
Not in a rush, just have some space concerns where the tank would sit and after being advised and shown some pictures of tanks, I'm looking into a cube tank; I'd prefer a 36x36 around 20 high maybe even 24.
Stand would be a plus but for the 36x36, stand would have to pass through two doors ~30 wide. I have someone committed to build me a stand but why sell the milk if you ain't have the cow yet, right?

Second option a 30x30 also 20-24 high.

Please include pictures if possible.

PM's are key.

I got a quote from Diablo Corals on a 30X30X20. Half-inch star fire, rimless and rear overflow that was very reasonable.

Kudos for not including the words "I could go a little bigger for the right deal," like I did! 36x36x24 is a great size.

"Back in a hobby with an island 4-side viewable 4' cube with center overflow. Old school SPS dominant with a nice zoa collection and a few chalices.

Current Tank Info: 4' island cube with center overflow/four side viewable. SPS, zoa, chalice reef."

Do you have pics of your tank? That size sounds awesome.

What a coincidence I have a 30x30x30 with a steel stand by Paul (Paulca916) I've been debating to sell. It isn't drilled but can be

Picture of cube stand in Paul's link:

I see the stand but no tank; 30" is too high for me; I might consider if no luck.

I just saw this.

P.S. I just bought a 36*36*20 keith grandt tank.

That's the same tank/stand that was available near Manteca; it was available with a canopy, light, sump and bulkheads as well for $550.
Quoted a piece of glass to replace it; just glass was $250 since it's to match the current all low-iron glass and polished edges plus the labor of the person to take the tank apart and re-do all silicon... was too much.
pm me details on $ and if you have a picture or two...

Will do... or have my "aquarium guy" contact you.

I'll put together my own build thread one of these days. Here is a video.

Love the tank Ron. I miss having a cube. Fun to scape, and enjoyment visually from three sides identical to each other. Really seems to add depth.

Four sides. That's the best part. The overflow is in the middle, and I brought everything in from the top including conduit for power through a bulkhead in the overflow. You can walk all of the way around it with no power cords or anything in the way. I saw it done once in a RC TOTM where the guy did the same thing except he had a basement below it. I can't see ever doing a tank again that isn't set up like this. It's a radically different aquarium experience.

Had to watch a second time, very cool indeed! Great build, I can imagine it took some thought on the routing.

It was a fun couple of weeks planning it! Just need to get the frag tank in the stand, somehow fit the dosing containers and the doser, and then finish the cabinet work. I think I'm going to scrap the algae scrubber. It's not growing very much algae and I have faith in my GFO and awesomely cool skimmer. I should probably talk about my tank in my own upcoming build thread though :)

This is actually the dimensions that I plan on eventually building. I got a quote from sca for about $800 shipped. I wanted a 36x36x18. Try contacting crystal dynamics or sca. They might compete for your business.

Tank is 30 high. It stand is lower so tank eye level. Wasn't home to take tanks picture. It has water deposits and it's drained so I can clean. It was used for freshwater why I didn't drill it. Can make killer deal for less than stand cost me
