What Monkie said ... Ghost shrimps are fresh water shrimps, but they can stay in salt water for a day or two. You keep them in a sperate tank before youbfeedbof course.

The nutritional content probably won't be the same as saltwater ghost shrimp though..gutloading them with marine fish food might help. I've ordered marine versions off Ebay, but never was able to breed them successfully.
