I have declared war on Asterina Starfish.... Please advise if you have alternative to annihilate these pesty little things.

Manual removal and Shrimp if you have a monstrous amount of them to keep the Shrimp fed as for Harq's only eat the tube feet of stars.

BBS though are better choice because:

The Bumble Bee Shrimp will feed upon the tube feet of echinoderms, but do not require them for survival. Offer them pieces of frozen meaty foods such as brine or mysis shrimp, cockle, or small pieces of fish. They should be offered these foods daily.

I had a Harlequin Shrimp and it decimated my Asterina stars in a matter of a few weeks. I probably had ~200 in a 75G.

Then I bought a chocolate chip star to keep it fed but felt bad about cutting it live, so I cut it all up and froze it. The Harlequin didn't like the dead/frozen star.

Then I went on vacation and it was gone a week later upon my return.

Amazingly beautiful animal. I wish I would have given it away after it cleaned up the Astrenia problem.

I have a pair of Harlequins, they're worth keeping for the cost of one starfish a month. Yes I spoil them with a full live one every time, but they have to work for the bigger ones as it's the same thing they'd have to do in the wild. Quite interesting to watch, and yes they are very pretty.
