LF HOB skimmer for a 20g

Hi all I am looking for a HOB skimmer to run on my temporary QT. Ideally a borrowed one would be excellent as I only need it for a few weeks while qt'ing a yellow tang. I am currently using a canister filter with some floss and plan to add a small amount of carbon but would really like to run a little skimmer. If anyone is selling one please pm me info please.

Are you planning on medicating the tang while in QT? I ask this because if you're using PraziPro, you'll need to turn off the skimmer. If you're medicating with copper, you'll want to remove the carbon from the canister.

I think you can save yourself some money since the benefits of a skimmer in QT are negligible, if existent at all. An air pump with either an airstone or sponge filter and a Maxi-jet will oxygenate the water nicely for your tang.

Should I treat it? This is the first fish I have qt'd I have a canister with floss and a sponge, should I just treat the tank and throw in a pump and air stone?
