LF LEDs, driver, heatsink to retrofit bio cube 14

I am looking for some LEDs, driver, heatsink, etc to retrofit my bio cube 14 with dimmable LEDs

I am looking at the kit from rapid led but wanted to check here if anyone had any laying around that they wanted to get rid of.

Kit comes with 12 LEDs total, so interested in somewhere around that number, more royal blue than white

with the rapid led kit make sure to get the neutral white leds instead of cool white. a general starting point would be a 2:1 royal blue to neutral white ratio, but i'd remove half of the royal blue and go with a 470nm blue instead to help with the purple hue that comes with a RB NW only combo. so I would do 4NW 4RB and 4 blue (or cool blue depending on what they call it, but in the 470nm range none the less.) what is the budget you are looking at? are planning on keeping the hood?

Thanks for the input, much appreciated, was wondering what ratios to do. I was going to do 2:1 rb to cw, but now I'm rethinking, what's the benefit of neutral white over cool? I was planning on keeping the hood as it's sitting on my kitchen counter. As far as budget goes, trying to keep it in the 150 range

neutral white covers more of a complete spectrum (reds and greens) than a cool white. theres enough red and green in a quality white LED (80-90 CRI) to not need discreet green or red LEDs. this allows for less soldering and obviously much better color blending. for $150 i would just pick up a used reefbreeders value fixture and call it a day. or pay $180 and get a new one. either way, bang for the buck its hard to beat.

I ended up getting a bunch of LEDs and heatsinks from someone. I am building lights for another project first, but my plan is to do 4 neutral white, 4 rb and 4 blue. I am probably going to use a couple of ld1000 buckpuck drivers and potentiometers to start, then switch eventually control the drivers with an arduino
