Welding supply places will help you out. Also the beer place in Henrietta rents them out and refills. I med size tank may last you a year or so.

+1 to working through the vendor you'll go to when you get it filled. Many vendors only work on an exchange program - there's no use buying a nice newish tank if you'll get an old ugly one the first time you exchange it. Other vendors only rent, they won't fill or exchange your tank. And so on.

Call around and see what the policies and prices are. There's a lot of variation.

I've got a 15 or 20# one that needs to be hydroed and filled which can both be done at Red Diamond / Rochester Carbonic on Mt Read. $50 and she's all yours.

Captain....if I cant get what I need, Ill let you know. Also, what does needing to be hydroed mean?

Co2 cylinders have to be pressure tested (hydro tested under water)and stamped within the past 5 years if you are going to have it filled. Danes welding, Jackson welding supply, Sunset Hydroponics, and southtown should be able to give you an idea of what is out there for options.
