Hello their my fellow Fish Lovers.
I am currently going to set up a 36 gallon bowfront tank and I am finally ready to take on my first sump. I am hoping one of you can help me get one, please PM me if you have something I could use. Thanks!

P.S. Im still a novice fish keeper so any and all advice regarding sumps would be awesome!

Will this sump be in a stand under the tank or in another location?
How much room do you have for the sump?
It would be much cheaper to build a sump out of a smaller aquarium than buying one if you can diy. Lots of sump designs on RC. Just do a search.

I plan on putting the sump in the stand. Im going to get my stand this weekend and the stands dimensions are 37"Lx16.5"Wx28.25"H. So i will have a good space for the sump. I don't think I would be able to do it myself so that is why I'm looking into buying one.

Don't have any experience with store bought sumps as I have always just done my own. It's pretty straight forward and simple. Are you looking to have a refugium as part of your sump?

If you are new to the hobby I would suggest you go to the general interest forum and then to "new to the hobby". There is a plethora of valuable information there that is must if you are to be successful. Go slow. It is definitely worth it. Welcome to the addiction. :)

I have a 30x12x18 29 gallon sump I made that i could sell. It has a skimmer section, return pump section, and a refugium section.

I have a 30gal long under mine with skimmer, refugium and then return sections. Works great for my 75.
I'm getting ready to move my DT and I am going to switch the fuge and return sections and increase the size of the return section.
I am also building a new stand, adding new lights and a new skimmer.
Here is a pic of my tank now that has basically been in an idle, no maintenance, state for about 6 years due to a home remodel. Only one hermit and 1 TC left.
