I'm located in Rochester, NY and finding Todd's Torches in all the local reef shops. Some real some not. This particular piece came from a trustworthy shop and good friend.
The head is slightly bigger than a quarter. So its got a lot of growing to doTo your point yes, I have seen larger heads that are much MUCH longer. This little guy is still getting use to the lights and flow in my tank.
Let me know if you are having a hard time locating one in your area. I can PM you the contact info for my local shop. I'm sure he will hook you up.
Nice coral! Where did you find it?
I know I sound like a snob but were you able to trace the lineage back to the original "Todd's Torch?" The reason I ask is because I have seen much longer and thinner tentacles on other Todds Torches.

I remember back in the day i had a huge hammer coral colony. Probably about 30 head and the size of a football. Some of the heads were green tipped and some of the other heads were purple tipped. Really cool morph/ Wonder where that piece ended up.
FWIW, I have a green torch (no idea if it has a fancy name) that had SUPER LONG tentacles in my old tank, I have the same torch that I moved to my new tank and it has never had the same extension. Not sure if its the flow, or the lighting or what :-/
but anyway, just because the extension isn't the same doesn't mean it isn't that same.
