1 month in copper is far too long. I am pretty sure cupramine recommends 14 days at .5.

Use a new airstone with each transfer. You can get a 4 pack for about $2.

so would I just throw out the airstones in garbage after each transfer + the airline tubing?

Then just air dry the bucket + heaters correct?




Does all the other equipment seem okay? How many MAX fish in each bucket?

I was thinking about adding 3 anthias..would want to introduce them @ the same time also plan on getting two tangs and want to introduce them at the same time so 2 medium size tangs.

Do I have to use vinegar / bleach after each transfer or can I just rinse out with tap and dry with paper towel for 72 hours?

You can put hot water into the container. I doubt that the parasite can survive it.

But 5 gallon food grade containers are cheap. Get three of them. That way you can really disinfect the containers in rotation.

I was just going to use IO buckets that i have left over? I only have 2 though so might go pick up 1 at lowes/homedepot (5 gal bucket) thx
