LFS dilemma

i just came back from the LFS to pick up a MTC protein skimmerthis one they said that it will generate alot of bubbles back to my display because of the size sump i have which is pro-clear 75 w/d
filter that i have running on my 72 and that i will have to be running at least a mag 9 to operate the skimmer which will be alot of water flowing thru the sump therefor bubbles wont dispurse and then back to my display instead they want me to buy a dual air stone skimmer same company same diameter i just dont get it the spray injection skimmer $200 the dual airstone $100 why do they want me to buy the cheaper one.does this all make sense which one do i get

An airstone driven skimmer does not compare in anyway to the spray injection (hence the price difference). I would have to pass on the LFS guys advice and get the spray injection. I wouldn't advise you to skimp on the skimmer, get the best one that fits within your budget. If you do have a problem with bubbles (if its in your sump it shouldnt be a problem) then you can just put a simple foam filter over the water outlet. HTH
