LFS has a cuttle fish

okay my lfs has a cuttlefish and i really want it what are its general care tips and preferences.

the store said its pretty tolerant to changes in water specs is this true. i do understand that like all cephs they dont live long.

since they dont crawl do they escape from tanks often?

cuttlefish are very sensitive to changes and are poor travellers, unfortunetly they dont always do well in home aquaria, in fact, in the US there are only a couple that i know of that have lasted longer than a few days.

Most commonly imported is sepia bandensis, imported as a fully grown adult withnormally only weeks to live, not even months

okay then how big do these cuttles grow

depens on what species they have...
bandensis not much bigger than 3"
